Age is NOT just a number

As I grow along the years, naturally I stopped partying, stopped having suppers, stopped hanging out till wee hours and of course, stopped going for Countdown parties.

Okay I sound like a bore now dont I.. haha but I am so sure some of you will understand what I mean. I really dread the traffic, the human jam, the commotion and pretty much everything.

So this new year's eve was spent quietly at home.. I scribbled some new year resolutions on paper. Made myself a nice dinner. Watched YouTube clips. Not bad at all.

My other half is on his way back from Johannesburg right now. So no countdown together this year. Last year was fabulous, we countdown together with a champagne toast in Paris. And a cheese platter with melons and prosciutto.

And the sale continues...everywhere

Many many girls proclaim themselves as queen of all shopaholics, so I dare not claim any titles or trophies. But I have an extremely hard-to-kick habit, I cannot let go of a good deal or a bargain buy. I just cant walk away. Its too tough. Maybe this should go into my year 2014 resolution list!

Sometimes I dash out of the store to escape the sweet deals enticing me. But a lot of times, I walk back after a few rounds of hem and haw. 

Today after lunch, the colleagues and I decided we will do a quick sweep of ZARA sales. Real quick.

How I splurge on Boxing day

Last Boxing day i spent it with my love in London, we had a great time shopping.

This Boxing day my love had to work, but i still managed to do a little sinful shopping alone at Sephora.

Most of their Christmas sets are on sale for 20% to 40%, I am pretty sure it is still ongoing now. I managed to pick up some Too Faced blushers and a couple of Butter London polishes.

I am like just like majority of girls, suckers for packaging. And besides the pretty box, I think their compact casing looks somewhat like an Oreo cookie, maybe its the edge of the pan and the detailing, mega cute.. Hehe

Its of course a bonus to know that both blushers and creme colors are paraben-free and vegan friendly :)

 

Collection or Obsession

I like scarfs.
I really really like scarfs.
Like really. 

I think they are colorful, versatile, fun to wrap around, easy to bring around. So I have many scarves, I counted 18, which to a lot of people, is already an insane amount.
